In 2017, our founders launched a groundbreaking project to harness solar electrostatic waves from the atmosphere as a renewable energy source. During development, they designed a surge protector to safeguard the system’s antenna from nearby lightning strikes. This led them to explore protection against High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulses (HEMP), which traditional surge protectors couldn’t handle. After researching military-grade HEMP surge protectors, they found these were costly, burned out after one event, and couldn’t defend against all EMP phases (E1, E2, E3). Their findings paved the way for better EMP protection solutions.
